I am an existing member, but am being asked to upgrade to download resources

This is something that our support team received enquiries from time to time about. Generally, it will be because of one of a couple of main reasons:

1. You have signed into Teach Starter with the wrong email address.

This is the most common reason why someone is unable to download resources. It can happen where some of our members have signed in and paid for an account with one email (e.g. their work email), but then log in and try to use the system with an alternate email (e.g. their personal email).

An easy fix for this is to try and sign in with your alternate email (eg. your work, personal, or uni email address) to verify if you have set up more then one account. Usually this solves the problem, as your paid account will be linked to the other email address.

2. Your current subscription doesn't include this resource

A Teach Starter subscription provides you with access to our premium resources. However, not all subscriptions will provide access to all premium resources, and you may need to upgrade for certain resources, such as Unit Plans or the Handwriting Worksheet Generator. You can view the inclusions of your own subscription here

If you have tried the suggestions above and have paid for a premium subscription and are still having issues downloading included resources from Teach Starter, please contact us.
